Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the website stratapoint.online. It is written to match what this site actually does, which is very little: there is no form anywhere on it, no account, no newsletter, no analytics and no cookie. The short version is that the only personal information that reaches the publisher through this site is what a hosting provider records in ordinary server logs, plus whatever a reader chooses to write in an email.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The entity responsible for personal information described in this policy — the controller, and for Australian purposes the organisation that handles it — is:

Privacy enquiries, access requests, correction requests and complaints all go to that email address. A named person handles them; there is no separate privacy department, and there is no cost to making a request.

2. What is collected

Three categories, and no others.

Server log records

When a page or file is requested, the hosting provider's web server writes a log entry containing the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status returned, the user agent string sent by the browser and, where the browser sends one, the referring page. This happens for every visitor and cannot be switched off without making the site impossible to operate securely.

Email correspondence

If you write to info@stratapoint.online, the message reaches the publisher's mailbox and contains whatever you put in it — typically your email address, your name if you sign it, and the substance of your enquiry.

Nothing else

This site has no input fields of any kind, so nothing can be submitted to it. It sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage, loads no third-party scripts, embeds no social widgets, runs no analytics or advertising tags, and requests no external fonts or images. No profile is built about any reader, and no automated decision-making takes place.

Clicking a paid link on this site takes you to a third party's website. From that point the third party's own privacy practices apply, not this policy, and the publisher receives no personal information about you from it — commission reporting is aggregated and does not identify individual readers to the publisher.

3. Why each category is handled, and on what basis

Neither category is used for marketing. There is no mailing list to join, and an email address written to the publisher is never added to one or passed to an advertiser.

4. How long information is kept

• Server log records: retained for up to 30 days in the ordinary course, after which they are deleted or overwritten by the hosting provider. A specific log entry may be kept longer where it forms part of investigating a security incident, and in that case it is deleted once the investigation is closed and in any event within 12 months.
• Email correspondence: retained for up to 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted. If you ask for your message to be deleted sooner, it will be, unless it needs to be retained to deal with a legal claim.

No other personal information exists to retain, because none is collected.

5. Who information is disclosed to, and where it goes

Two recipients, both necessary to operate the site and the mailbox.

• The hosting provider that serves this website and, in doing so, creates and stores the server logs described above. Its servers process requests from readers, including readers in Australia. The provider's identity will be given on request by email.
• The email provider that operates the mailbox for info@stratapoint.online and therefore stores messages sent to it.

No other third party receives personal information from this site. There is no advertising network, no analytics company, no content delivery network, no tag manager, no chat service and no data broker involved, because none of those services are used here.

Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). The publisher is established in the Czech Republic, and the hosting and email infrastructure used to run this site and its mailbox is located outside Australia, in the European Union. If you are in Australia, personal information described in this policy — your IP address in a server log, or the contents of an email you send — is therefore disclosed to overseas recipients and handled outside Australia. By using the site or writing to the address above, you should understand that this is where the information goes. The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but an overseas recipient is not itself bound by them, and the publisher remains accountable for the disclosure.

6. Security

The measures in place are concrete and limited, and it would be misleading to claim more:

• The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between a reader's browser and the server is encrypted in transit.
• The site is static files. There is no database, no user accounts and no application logic that could be attacked to extract reader data, because there is no reader data to extract.
• Access to the hosting account and the mailbox is restricted to the publisher's own personnel and protected by unique credentials with multi-factor authentication where the provider supports it.
• Nothing about readers is exported, analysed or shared internally, since nothing beyond logs and email exists.

7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

If you are in Australia, you may ask for access to personal information the publisher holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Write to info@stratapoint.online. In practice the holdings are small: an email exchange, or a log entry which can only be located if you can supply the IP address and approximate time of the visit.

If you are not satisfied with how a request or a complaint is handled, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Australian privacy regulator, which publishes on its website how to make a privacy complaint and what it can consider. The publisher asks only that you raise the matter by email first, since most issues can be resolved directly and faster.

8. Notifiable Data Breaches scheme

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose personal information is involved, the publisher will assess it promptly and, where the scheme applies, notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

9. European and United Kingdom rights

KR Ultimate s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to its handling of personal information, and equivalent United Kingdom rules apply to readers there.

The legal basis relied on for both categories described above is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) — operating and securing the website, and answering correspondence. No consent basis is relied on anywhere, because the site sets no cookies and uses no tracking technology, so there is nothing that would require consent.

Subject to the conditions in the legislation, you have the right to request access to your personal information, rectification of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing, portability of information you provided, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Requests go to info@stratapoint.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for the publisher that authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic, and readers elsewhere may complain to the authority in their own country of residence.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children and contains nothing aimed at them. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 16, and since the site has no forms, no accounts and no cookies, there is no mechanism by which a child could provide information to it. If a parent or carer believes a child has sent an email containing personal information, write to the address above and the message will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top, and the previous position is not silently replaced — where a change is material, a short note describing it is added below this paragraph for at least six months. Importantly, if any cookie, analytics tag or third-party script is ever introduced to this site, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated and a working consent mechanism put in place before the change goes live, not after.
