Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 17 September 2026

StrataPoint carries paid links. This page sets out the arrangement in full: who pays, what triggers a payment, what it costs you, and what it does and does not influence about the content of this site.

The arrangement

KR Ultimate s.r.o., the publisher of this site, participates in an affiliate programme relating to the game Enlisted. Links on this site that point to the Enlisted website are affiliate links. When a reader follows one of them and completes a registration on the advertiser's side — creating an account and confirming the email address — the advertiser pays the publisher a commission for that referral.

The payment comes out of the advertiser's marketing budget. It is triggered by a completed registration, not by anything you spend afterwards, and the publisher receives no share of any later purchase you might make inside the game.

What it costs you: nothing

Following an affiliate link changes nothing about your side of the transaction. The game is distributed free of charge, the registration is free, and no price, offer, condition or feature differs because you arrived through this site rather than by typing the publisher's address directly. You are not enrolled in anything by clicking, and no personal information about you is passed to the advertiser by this site — the commission report the publisher sees is aggregated and does not identify individual readers.

What the commission does not influence

  • It does not buy wording. The advertiser did not write, review, approve or see any text on this site before publication, and has no right to require a change to it.
  • It does not buy silence. The pages on how free-to-play works, consumer rights and parental controls are written as they would be with no advertiser at all, including where they discuss randomised purchases, spending controls and the limits of what a classification tells you.
  • It does not create a ranking. Nothing on this site claims that the advertised product is the best, the most popular or better than an alternative. No comparative test has been run here, so no comparative verdict is published.
  • It does not add urgency. There are no countdowns, no limited-time claims and no suggestion that anything must be done today. A registration made next month pays the same as one made now, which is precisely why there is no reason to push.

What does determine the coverage here

Three things, in this order.

  1. The commercial relationship determines which product is profiled. This is the honest answer and it is worth being blunt about: Enlisted is the one product covered at product level because it is the product with which the publisher has an affiliate arrangement. The site has not surveyed the market, and it does not pretend the choice was editorial.
  2. Reader questions determine what else is written. The remaining entries exist because they answer questions somebody in Australia would actually type — what free-to-play really costs, why a confirmation email has not arrived, whether a laptop will run a game, what to do about an unrecognised charge. Those entries mention no product at all and carry no paid links.
  3. Sources determine the content of each entry. Product statements come from the publisher's own description and nowhere else. Statements about law or public guidance link to the Australian body that publishes them. Where a question cannot be answered from either, the entry says it is not stated instead of filling the gap.

The standard this site holds itself to is simple: every entry should still be worth reading if every paid link were deleted. The editorial method is described at greater length on the about page.

How to identify a paid link

Paid links are labelled in three ways at once, so none of them has to be trusted alone:

  • A plain-language note sits directly next to the link or button, in ordinary body text, saying that it is paid.
  • The link is marked in the page's own code with rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is the standard machine-readable signal to search engines that a link is commercial.
  • The address the link points to is the advertiser's own tracking address, visible in the browser's status bar before you click and unchanged by any script on this page. There are no redirect pages on this domain, no cloaking, no link shorteners and no JavaScript that rewrites a destination.

Only links to the Enlisted website are paid. Links to Australian government bodies — the ACCC, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Australian Cyber Security Centre and Australian Classification — are ordinary references and earn nothing. Links between pages of this site earn nothing either.

Where paid links appear

At the time of the review date above, paid links appear on two pages only: the home page, in the section describing the product covered in detail, and the product profile. Every other page on this site is free of them. If that changes, this page is updated in the same change.

Who to talk to about this

The arrangement is the publisher's, and questions about it should go to the publisher:

KR Ultimate s.r.o.

Company number: 09665544

Email: info@stratapoint.online

Under Australian law, disclosure of commercial arrangements of this kind is not optional decoration — misleading conduct in trade is prohibited, and the ACCC publishes guidance on advertising and selling, including how commercial relationships should be disclosed. This page exists to meet that standard plainly rather than minimally.
